Building with Spin

Spin is built to make creating a real app feel as simple as starting a conversation. Just describe what you want — Spin builds it. You customize it. Then you launch.

Writing a Good Prompt

Everything starts with a single sentence. Describe what you want to build in plain language — the clearer the idea, the better the result.

Example prompts:

  • “Create a clean landing page for a Solana tool with stats and a live chart.”

  • “Build a leaderboard for users who tweet about a project.”

  • “Make a simple task tracker with categories and deadlines.”

  • “Generate a micro-SaaS app for uploading PDFs and summarizing them with AI.”

Tips for better results:

  • Mention the app type (landing page, dashboard, tool, etc.)

  • Be specific about features or layout sections

  • Keep it short, but focused

  • No technical terms needed — Spin handles the logic

Editing Your App

Once your app is generated, you can edit everything directly in the browser.

You can:

  • Change text, images, colors, and layout

  • Add or remove components

  • Customize styles, fonts, and spacing

  • Adjust features and content to fit your needs

No code required. Spin gives you a full visual editing experience.

Exporting and Deploying

Once you're ready to share or go live, you can:

  • Export the full codebase

  • Deploy with one click (hosting support coming soon)

  • Connect token-gating and Solana program flows (in progress)

Spin-generated apps are real, production-ready applications — not mockups.

Adding a Token (Optional)

If your product is worth sharing or building community around, you can attach a token launch using platforms like Believe.

Spin makes it easy to:

  • Build the product first

  • Launch the token second

  • Gate features, power incentives, or reward early users

You don’t need a token to start — but if it makes sense, it’s one step away.

Best Practices

  • Start simple with your prompt, then refine

  • Think of your Spin app as a starting point, not just a prototype

  • Be clear about structure and features from the start

  • Use the editor to fine-tune before launch
